To all for clarification:
I’ve called Time Out at crucial moments during a Football game, told the players to gather in real close, and said a prayer out loud for our kids to have the cognizance and strength to be heroes in the moment.
I also tell my Math & Physics students on the first day of class that I am not the smartest mathematician, that in fact, many of them are smarter than me. But my job is not to be smart, but to make them smarter.
I tell them that I pray several times a day to be able to present the material in a way that it is interesting, pertinent, and useful to them. I also implore my students to pray hard for me because I need it.
I also pray for my bosses and acknowledge that they have a hard job that I don’t want. I tell them regularly that there is not enough money to pay me to do their jobs.
I am presently retired (for the 3rd time), and I pray that the 500+ Math and Science jobs presently open in Texas get filled by spiritual teachers that love kids.
