Coach I am a admirer of small ST. I understand not being able to specify small or large ST, but IMO small are “pleasing” to eye. Now if I was going to use ST in a crap your pants, house on fire emergency, I have no idea which would be better.

Coach I am a admirer of small ST. I understand not being able to specify small or large ST, but IMO small are “pleasing” to eye. Now if I was going to use ST in a crap your pants, house on fire emergency, I have no idea which would be better. Me neither!!!

Hi, I find it interesting that the small vs big teeth are a result of tooling. What I know about making knives wouldn't fill a gnat's ear. That being said I bet that in use there would be no noticeable difference between small or big ST. YMMV, regards, Mike

It is 5’s I collect. I was all over the map when I started collecting 20+ years ago. Now I only collect 5’s, although I have a few others. Here are some other ST 5’s. The 5-8” was owned by Pap, at one time, I think. Not great photos, just showing both ends of the ST size spectrum.
