It is a completely different micarta that is somewhat darker than the shop A/G. Don Hedrick was able to do his magic work on the spot where the brow tine was. He has a technique to convert the spot so it looks like it was never there. This is my first crown stag and my third Rick Bowles special. This is a huge stag made for left-hand use and the brow tine spot was magically worked by Don Hedrick. Here it is from different angles.
