Don Hedrick was able to do his magic work on the spot where the brow tine was. He has a technique to convert the spot so it looks like it was never there.

I received my crown stag special #224 on Wednesday and learned how to change the white balance on my camera thanks to the good folks here on the forum. This is my first crown stag and my third Rick Bowles special. This is a huge stag made for left-hand use and the brow tine spot was magically worked by Don Hedrick. Here it is from different angles.
