It is known as a "SFG" nowadyas but for years was known as a "Griffin Handle". Dave Griffin, Randall's shop foreman, designed the "Drop point hunter" with this handle shape. Us "old-schollers" still call it a Griffin from time to time.

This Stanaback Special Limited just in, number 107 with the extremely rare left hand oxblood sheath with round hone.
Another example of the exceptional craftsmanship coming from the shop.

After a long wait (the wait is always long, like all of you Randall-nuts know so well), my first Stanaback Special, ltd II has finally arrived!
I can't wait to take him in the woods ....

Interesting enough, it has the s/n # 156, the same number of Police Academy course that I attended ....
