I usually don't stray far from Randall or Treeman/Behring.

However, Roger "Mudbone" Jones knives have peaked my interest.

Anyone have experience with his work?

I know I want to purchase one, just don't know where to begin.

Thx--Doug

I know the Mud-Man well.....he makes some very nice knifes....and does it all by hand.

I highly recommend his knives...... and his sheath work is just as great!!

Mudbone hangs around with our "crew" at the Blade show. (Just one more reason to attend)
Best, Capt. Chris

Here is a picture of Mudbone..... plus I loaded some pictures of his work to this link. Mud does some great knife sheath work. One of the most impressive parts is he does not use any power tools.... all "hand" made.

My first two Mudbone's:

Woodcraft Hunter (hidden tang, moose handle with brasss/black/leather spacers & high ride sheath)--enroute from Behring Made Knives.

The other is marked "Mud #2 09" on the tang with wood handles and his signature lanyard tang.

Both with file blades.

I'm extremely pleased with his work!

Tunefink--thanks for sharing your Mudbone album. It's difficult to find photos of his work....and your album gave me a good fix (and ideas for future purchases--I gotta get one of those file "neck knifes").

Quick question if anyone is reading this.....can you view my photos above. When I'm using my home computer I see the photos just fine--if I'm using another computer/cell phone, the photos do not show up. Thank you.

Doug,

Funny you should ask this question. I was all ready to pose the question to Rick T. yesterday and ask about why I was getting the little square boxes with the red X's. I logged on to write the posts, bingo, your pictures came up. Don't know the answer to that??
I have the same thing happen with Jimmy Bedgood's pictures. I have been told in the past that was a problem with my server??
