Ken has kindly reduced my pics to a post-able size. One is of the Woodsman on my favourite book from when I was a kid, Trap-Lines North. Thanks!

Hey Norm,
Nice pics!
Funny coincidence ... while skiing and snowshoeing a few weeks ago, 26 miles north of Quebec City,
I saw large cat-like prints in the snow ... even around our ski house one morning!
I guessed they might be lynx ... asked a local and he confirmed it! Never acually saw one in the wild ... yet!

Hey fellows. I moved the Lynx posts and replies to the "Good Loung" as the posts were off subject from the intended Model 28 thread.

Best regards,

Rhett

Here is a model 28 Woodsman doing its duty to feed a hungry hiker with some delicious jalapeno-cheese venison bologna.
Yum

Nice! I just realized that I am within a month of receiving the #28 that I ordered last year. It will have a Nickel Silver hilt and Green Micarta handle.

Well, the #28 that I ordered through Gary Clinton last November arrived today: Nickel Silver Hilt, Green Micarta Handle (it is definitely "green"), and Black Sheath.
