Max,

Your new #5 has nice lines and proportions. I like the squared off guard and dropped handle. Really nice package!

My Model 5-4 should be here in the next few weeks. I ordered it with a black micarta handle without a lanyard hole hoping that the handle might be a little smaller in diameter. Don't know if it works that way or not, regardless it should be a nice user.

Today I watched the site of the Captain.
In the recently sold knives, I noticed this beautiful model
www.captainchrisstanabackrandallknives.com/index.php?/main/catalog/1234

So, one photo turned out very unusual. It reminded me of one of my old knife from AG Russell.

An interesting form of the bolster could have been if it had not been for reflection grin

(Just need to mentally turn the constriction (or expansion) down, and not up)

That's just a shadow, reflecting into the photo tent...

Well, here's my old(new to me) #5-8"; unashamedly borrowing pics. from that photographic genius, Miles W.....& a few from me. I was really pleased to get this knife, hope to have the good fortune to use it as my hunt/hike/fish/camp-knife. Toward that goal I sent it North toward Jim Behring and Rosco sent it back with an outstanding new sheath, using a beautiful piece of tanned beaver tail (Thanks Pap!). I have no idea about when this beautiful blade left the shop. You fellas'?
So guys, whaddaya' think??
