Received this from the shop a few weeks ago. This thing is awesome, even with the wait. I can tell you if you even touch something forward of the lugged hilt your gonna bleed. It's long and sleek and the handle is perfect, seems a little longer than usual. I ordered a #2-8" to match. Hopefully it will follow in a few months.

JIMMY, THAT IS A BEAUTIFUL KNIFE!

Love the small fine tooth work on top (I count 37 teeth).
The lugged Hilt sets the blade off too. Will be an attention getter around the troops.

It does appear to be longer, but likely a distortion caused by use of a wide-angle lens setting.

Reminds me a little of the Model 1-18" that I flagged down at the 2007 0r 2008 Blade Show. He was looking for Rhett, so I put him within Rhett's "roving eye field". I believe it in the RKS newsletter.

I think the blade on the model 1 is a very sweet grind, I'm more partial to the saw teeth no saw teeth grind but still find the teeth impressive.
very well thought out knife enjoy!!
