A common problem with the 35 rem contenders, especially with factory ammo. I had one and just neck sized it and had 100% ignition, shot less than an inch at 200 also. Finally sent it to SSK for rechamber to 358JDJ. Like and idiot I traded it off.

No, I've moved up to the Encore. Encore frame can take more pressure than the Contender but the triggers s@ck compared to the Contender. Want to get a 338 win mag or 375 ruger barrel made up.

7mm-08 (Remington 700), caliber of choice. Good fire power and kind on a poor shoulder.

Kent, I'll have to talk with you regarding Twin City ranges and shooting.

Jeff I always wanted a Remington model 7 in 7mm-08, great calibar. If I every stumble across one I'll buy it!
