Dale,
Mine is an "NTB". Your's is a "BTB". Does "that" help? Best, Capt. Chris

Well, I am guessing the TB portion is for Trail Blazer but have no idea what the "N" or the "B" stands for... got me puzzled on that one.

"NTB" stands for a "standard, traditional" Trailblazer handle (i.e. 13 spacers as opposed to a "trapper", Model #25-styled handle), with "nickel silver hardware". "BTB"?? Same description, except "brass" fittings.
Of course: Ya'll know that with nickel silver fittings there is always one brass spacer and with brass fittings here is always one aluminum spacer...Right?? I hope this clears all of the "NTB" and "BTB" coding up. Best for now,
Capt. Chris

I want to say thank you for taking the time to post the "Model of the Week" threads. For a new member and for someone who is in awe of RMK's this thread is something I looked forward to every Sunday. To be able to read the history, see some some fabulous photos and get first hand information is ...... well it is something I will miss.
Again THANK YOU and to all the weekly participants.

The Model 27 is a beautiful blade and I may have to find a way to acquire one of them!

Mark

Kevin,

I have enjoyed all of the Model of the Weeks that I have been around for, Thank You!

I have tried to search for some of the past "Model of the Week" postings and due to the 200 thread max on the search can never get back to the early ones. Since they are often a great resource for research I am wondering if we could have a permanent link to all 27 threads? That would be great!!!

Thanks Again

I didn't notice that until you said something but I could only go back to model 14 (in January) when looking just now. A link, as you mentioned, would be a good idea since there is lots of good info and photos in each one.

As it happens I'm currently working on a customers model #27. I don't generally like to show a piece until it's finished but since it's model 27 week and I won't finish it for a couple of more weeks, I figure I'd better shoot it now.
