I don't have many Randalls that have the original white wrap paper still with them but I do have a few. This is one and also one of my favorites. I've figured out part of the notation on the paper, but not the rest. Obviously, 1-7 is the knife model (1) and blade length (7), SS is stainless steel, NS is nickel silver and FCH is forward curved hilt. But what do the rest of the acronyms mean?

Aluminum spacers, nickel silver butt plate and it looks like a "CW" for customer-supplied handle material. Also looks like it came with a black sheath?? Capt. Chris
Okay. Notations in order on the paper: 1-7 (obvious) SS for stainless steel blade NS for nickel silver hilt FCH for forward curved hilt NSP for nickel silver plate WW ??? ASP for aluminum spacers MM ??? Capt. Cris - I don't see where you get black sheath. It does have a black sheath, but I don't understand how you knew that.

t It does have a nickel silver butt plate and it did come to me with a black sheath.
The enclosed photo shows what appears to be a Model 5-6" with a stainless steel blade, nickel-silver hilt-single/squared, & aluminum & black spacers.
Both my customer from Texas and I are still scratching our heads trying to figure out how they managed to fit the model 5- 4" inch sheath wrapped up inside, to that knife.
Neither "author" had stepped forward to admit the blade does lose a couple of inches in shipping to NC.
