[quote=Abby]From the encouragement of Tom I will post an image of Blue Angel Lt. Dave Rottgering in his Blue Angels Grumman F-11F Tiger. He is holding his Model 18. 5 1/2 Crutch tip with a wrapped handle. The photo is from the photo boards just outside of the old Randall Museum that I shot several years ago. Love to know Dave’s story and his service. Did he pass this service knife on to a son? Did he go on to fly heavy jets for a domestic air carrier? By the way Lt. Dave Rottgering, thank you for your service.

Here are two more shots of Dave, sorry can't see a Randall in these promo images. Still fun to see.

It's MY pleasure Duke.

There are a lot of cool pictures scattered on the forums, but I can never find them, so I have been uploading them to my site. Makes it easy for me to refer to them.

Here is the knife I was wearing. APFK with 7" CS blade, brass 14 style hilt, leather commando handle, all black spacers and rounded butt cap. I took the hone pocket off because I wear my sheath down the front pocket. It makes it easy getting in and out of stuff without getting in the way. You can set down on anything you want and its concealed when wearing your top.
