here's my # 14s ... a model that I love (like all other Randall knives). I apologize (again) for the poor quality of photos ... maybe I need a new camera! Best,

Thanks Dubie,
This Model #14 with this configuration feels great in your hand, it is extremely well balanced with the big chunk of brass on the butt end.
I never thought about it until I was talking to Scott at one of the Orlando Gun & Knife Shows but the SS Blades are noticeably heavier than the Carbon Blades. Depending on the handle type and material a #14 in 01 Steel could be well balanced but a little blade heavy in SS with the same handle, especially in the CDT version. This one is near perfect. The #14 blade is a hefty blade.

WOW Tom! A really cool and unique looking #14. Goes to show ya ... there are configurations out there that some of us wouldn't automatically think of, without the guidance of a knowledgeable expert or two! Thanks for sharing! Tony

Stainless, Brass double hilt (#1 style), Brass & black spacers, IW handle and a Brass butt cap. Close-up shows just how nice the figure is in this piece (just not totally in "focus")!! Best, Capt. Chris
