Wow! What a collection of knives to be stolen. A life's worth of collecting. The person who stole them won't even know or care about the value and are likely exchanging for drugs.

That sucks big time. At least they weren't high end Customs from some of the biggest names in the industry. A poor joke. Hope they are returned.

RDU stands for Raleigh–Durham International Airport. The great Tar-heel state. Hope the thief is on video and they can get him.

Hate to hear this. A lot of rare, irreplaceable knives there. Love that Ted Dowell ironwood lockback. What a shame.

The mothers son needs to feel the cutting edge on his hide before they are returned.Various places come to mind as a starting point.

I think I mentioned this before, but a friend of mine that travels with his custom knives, always includes a cheapy wheel gun and checks them all in one hard locked case. At every stop, it must be inspected. He has never lost a knive or the cheapy gun in 20 years.

Abby--

Is this the case where law enforcement managed to identify the thief from airport video, and trace his traveling to Indianapolis and arrest his with most of the knives? I believe he had sold just a few of the knives before they got him.
