Sorry Rob, I don't know anything about the history of the knife except what the butcher paper says... "FIRE NS CW BPH WS" That sounds like a secret language but we all know

Hey Gary:
That white micarta is awesome on the Fireman.
When Treeman re-handled it, did they maintain the full tang?
RMK will not do full tangs with white micarta.
Thanks,
Coach

This is a Randall Made knife as far as I know. If memory serves, Treeman had some nice white micarta and was getting Randall to put it on some knives for them, this one included.
It's not a re-handle to my knowledge. Now, this was in 2004 according to my notes.
I'll take some more pics of the tang side tomorrow.
It's hard for me to believe that I wouldn't have noted that it was a re-handled knife, or read the description wrong when I purchased it.
Thanks Capt. I was going through my notes and now can't swear it was Treeman. It might have been Perry Miller. I can't find all my receipts but clues lead me to Perry too.
Most of the receipts from Treeman have faded to unreadable. (Used to just get a yellow handout from the shop and your CC payment on a piece of wafer thin CC machine paper and that's it).
