#14 SS sawteeth blade, Border Patrol black Micarta handle, double nickle-silver hilt, full tang, waxed sheath.
This was my retirement gift to me after 21 years of service in the Army that officially concludes 31 AUG 2015. I wished I had bought one/know about Randall's years ago. I sold a NIB Gerber BMF w/sawteeth I purchased as a green 2LT in Alaska 20 years ago to partially finance this. I think I upgraded. This won't be my last one!!!
Congrats on your FIRST RANDALL, IT WILL NOT BE YOUR LAST,
THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR SERVICE OF 21 YEARS WITH OUR ARMY TROOPS.
Brown button and canteen snap. I couldn't guess what the rarest variation/combination of sheath, knife, handle material, etc, is,... but a brown button canteen snap is my favorite sheath.

Joe, how the devil could that sheath survive so long without any trace of verdigris (or whatever that green stuff is called) around the rivets? ...and what a BEAUTIFUL knife!
Steve, no shit, the leather smells new! Literally. I don't think I have ever had one that smelled like that. Pretty bazaar. Absolutely no signs of age whatsoever. It was kept in a safe deposit box since it was new was how I understood it.
Just in from the shop...ordered 8/30/10 5 years, and 1 month later...well worth the wait. #14 CDT single finger grip thumb notches my micarta....if I go to camp, it will be with me....should be getting the same in a #15 in the next few months. :-)Rocky
