Handsome blade Tom. That green handle is super. Is it standard RMK green micarta? Should be a fine working knife.

Hi Tom,

According to the Captain, it is Jade Green and no longer available. Mine was apparently supplied by customer. I like it better in person than the photos of it I initially saw. Glad yo like it.

It was never a shop option, rather customer-supplied. I like the stuff...a lot!
Best, Capt. Chris

I like it a lot. Has a lot of depth of color in person. Feels great also.

I have a couple of jade green micarta Randalls and they don't look as good as your knife. They also don't photograph well with a cell phone camera. Looking at the grips on these two knives in real time they look the same. Not so much in the photos. All I can suggest to get the actual color is to split the difference between the two.

It does look like a really bad imitation of jade as far as the color goes.

I got a yesterday afternoon model 14 mini #1581.
Beautiful design and high quality finish.
I wonder what it is the year of release?
Today I completed the repair and used the knife.
Excellent steel. Knife blunt due to contact with
the concrete wall. I think if there was a model 10-4
with #14 grind, 1/8 thickness, it would be my ideal for city EDC smile

Sorry for the poor quality of the photos..

Looks like a Solingen "hump back" blade.
