These certainly look nasty for the intended purpose,....but I am wondering if the teeth are a factory option on this model, or was the work done elsewhere?

I didn't see it listed as an option anywhere in the online, or in last year's Randall catalog request I received.

There are two "Teeth Configurations", Joe. A "Fine Tooth" configuration and a "fewer number of teeth vs the fine tooth" configuration.

I do not know the exact count of the teeth in each configuration or if you can ask for a given tooth configuration when you order a knife. It seems like the Experts that do that Sawtooth work might be different from knife to knife.

But it is a great option and the sawteeth cut very well.
