Anyone want to comment on this knife? I know that a special order placed by the US Border Patrol is where
the border patrol handle shape originated from but is this one of the original knives made for the USBP Agents?

Some time ago I was told that the BP agents who bought the knives had the choice to have their names engraved on them, and some did and some did not. I do not remember hearing how many buyers might have wanted their names on the knives.

The story on these knives was written up in the RKS Newsletter in 2006 (I think), and if you have the DVD that the RKCC has produced with the newsletters you can read pretty much all about them.

That Border Patrol is a great knife; love the look in the display case. Was there others made with the display case or was that a special order?
