I was not even tracking this!!!! (other things going on).

Buck called and tipped me off around 1130 CST. While getting my wife's vehicle serviced, I scored a #3 hunting knife leather handle 5" stainless blade around 1330 CST. Had no wait getting a call in. Added top of blade thumb notches and waxed sheath. I need a hunting knife as there are LOTS of deer here to hunt here in the Wiregrass of SE Alabama where I have moved to after military retirement.

Thank you, Buck, for giving me the heads up!!

Scott, is there any way I could get a notion of what is available? I am particularly interested in model ones and twos.the Canadian dollar is in the doldrums right now, but for the right knife, I would ignore that little difficulty.

I just spoke with Michael at the shop and there are still approx. a dozen knives left. Some Model 1 and 2's, and a Model 19!

After making numerous calls early in the day (during the communications breakdown) and resigned to my fate of not getting through, I was very pleasantly surprised when my phone rang around 3:00 pm and it was Valerie on the other end. Apparently, their caller ID worked even though the calls didn't go through.

How nice to receive Valerie's call asking me if I wished to purchase any Randall knives!!
What a great bunch of folks! It's a special day when the shop calls you during a stock sale.

I have a Model #1 with some special features and a Tailor inbound in the next several weeks. It's going to be a swell birthday/Thanksgiving/Christmas to be sure.
