I don't know why I hadn't picked one up earlier, it is a great model. I sent the original one to Mr. Johnson for a custom pouch sheath. No telling how many elk and mule deer I have gutted and skinned with my 2 Model 7's. As I have stated before, my first #7 was taken by the wife as she loved it's small features, so I immediately ordered another one. I now also have a #3-6 but it hasn't had the "experience" that my #7's have.
