I found this image online, written that this is model 4 "fighter" WWII.
Interesting who is now the owner?
I would like to see the pictures from other angles, if possible smile

Here is a cool old #4 fighter from the early 50's. Pinned stag with finger grips. Love the double hilt.

That is a misnomer. That is in Pete's book, and it is a Commando model of some sort. Unique to say the least and not a "model 4", which was not introduced until after the war.

Joe,

On this post and one by Whiteman on the Model 1's thread, both knives look like the hilt matches the duralum cap. I am assuming this is not nickle silver; what material is the hilt?

This one came up on e-bay a number of years ago advertised as only a "Hunting knife". As a result, the seller lost some money (Seller's original pic):



Here it is with three like "friends". Models 1, 2, 3 & 4 all with double hilts, all with ivory and all from the early to mid 50's"
