SOG was a long time ago and typically the only people selling SOG knives with blood on them are people looking to score some cash.

Since only 2000 ever served with SOG and were 300 KIA, I am interested in where you spoke with "at least 500" (1/3 of the survivors) of them. I served 20+ years in SF most at Fort Bragg (1972-1996) and I never met that many, but I served with more than a few. Guess it is time for my BS flag to get thrown.

You missed my point, by my count 496 of the 500 were wannabees. Schottler, Zubeck, Kohl, and Baker were not.
Schottler and Zubeck were too young to serve in SOG, Kohl and Baker very likely at one point. They were all SF. (apparently like you). One of our previous members brother was in SOG but the member has left the forum. I did not count him.

So save your BS flag for someone else.

Crutchtip, Did the real deal knife come out of Tom's collection, he had a very nice SOG knife and patch collection.

I never said I knew Simon, never said I knew Meadows, and I have no real interest in meeting Plaster. They were famous people in the community apparently. I never served in any military organization, Police organization, Boy Scout organization, so all of you got me beat apparently. Have a nice day.

I think it is time to leave you guys to your humor, and move on to other forums. Have a great New Year.
