No, I didn't buy it. I collect NIB '73-'79 three liners read point up.

I only own four 100 Series knives and these four are my favorite models. Next would probably be the 103 or 118, but I'm content with these four for now.

Great looking knives Tom,

Need to add the General and the Nemo to that collection then you have both ends of those beauties covered.

Thanks Max. A new condition Nemo would be expensive, but it's a cool knife and sheath for sure. As for the General, I'm not sure what I would do with the extra 1.5" of blade that it has over the Special. grin

I don't know Tom, but sometimes 1.5" is a big deal grin

the 120 feels a lot different in your hand.

Two of my most treasured, and used on many bucks, Bucks; and both were gifts:
-the 103 from my now 91 year old Father-in-Law before I asked for his daughter.
-the 109 from that wonderful daughter the first year offered by Buck..."just because."
God willing, they'll have more hunting memories added in the future.

Sharpi,

if it is a user I wouldn't clean it. you would be removing the great memories.

The Rick Bowles Hunter & Skinner models appear as clones to the Buck 103. All variations of the Green River Skinners...
In my eyes they do anyway !!
