I like the knife talk a lot more vs the ECOBOOST talk.

I bought a beautiful knife #3-5 from Jclarksnakes.
Joe Tousignant helped me a lot - He helped pass the money through the mail, and I asked him to slightly reduce the Hilt.
This was necessary in order to comply with local law.
As a result, we have it.
I am very happy! smile

Exactly what is the "local law" that would presumably make the knife "illegal" with a single hilt as made?

I don't mind sending a Randall to the James' Gang for alteration..."BUT"...( I know. There's that word again)...what is shown here is quite simple to order, straight from the Randall shop. You don't have to wait any longer on an order placed and the entire knife and work is guaranteed for as long as you live!
Best, Capt. Chris
PS: You can get thumb notches at the same time...CCS

Thank You, Capt. Chris!
I know. A suitable option with reduced hilt sold freely is very rare. To order the dealer is also at least six months.
I checked knife out on the X-ray from a friend. No defects. If ever it break, my local knifemakers help me repair without problems smile
I will use it to the fullest, I'm curious to watch how he will behave in life.

We have really tough laws regarding knives.
If the knife blade has a length less than 3.5 inches, he may have any configuration.
If the blade is longer, then it must have be one of the parameters:
- Hilt size of less than 5 mm
- blade thickness of less than 2.5 mm
- hardness of less than 25 HRC
- (pic 1) Dmax - Dmin < 8 mm
- (pic 2) H > 15 mm
- (pic 3) H > 5 mm
- (pic 4) have gut hook
- (pic 5) H > 5 mm if blade length < 180 mm
and H > 10 mm if blade lenght > 180 mm
- other parameters.

If the blade does not have any parameters,
then the need to buy additional permission.
It is very expensive and a lot of bureaucracy.
Much easier simply cut off Hilt smile
