A 12-6 that I like the looks of and I typically don't give the 12-6 much attention. Pretty piece of Stag.

Rick Bowles scrimmed Model 12-6" Little Bear Bowie. Here is some background history that I received from Rick himself:

In March of 1981 I received the first ten blades to scrimshaw for Randall Made Knives. By March of 1982, one year later, I had scrimshawed fifty Randall knives. Though the models varied, all of those early scrimshawed knives were handled in white Westinghouse paper micarta. This synthetic handle material, called Ivorite by the Randall shop, ultimately earned the nickname "Old Yeller" due to it's characteristic of yellowing dramatically over time. These early knives were made specifically for me to scrimshaw and could be identified by a special black and white spacer combination.

The first ten knives I scrimshawed for Randall were model #3's. The second ten, like yours, were model #12 Little Bears. The following ten were model #8 Trout and Bird.

I've always enjoyed doing birds of prey and your knife (#020) is supposed to be a juvenile red tail hawk. While it is honest work and the best I could do at the time, it's difficult to look at 35 years later! I've attached images of #001 which is in the Randall museum and a more contemporary piece which hopefully shows I've progressed over the years!
