I bought this swell center congress at a knife show this summer. Not a very expensive knife, just a neat little knife. Since then I have really liked carrying it off and on. It’s a 4 blade knife, 3 1/4” closed.

I was wondering what it would look like as a whittler with a Wharncliffe master blade. So I scanned it next to a Wharncliffe Trapper and did a little cut & past. This is what I came up with.

I think this would make a great Case/Bose collaboration knife. (made in D-2)

What are your thoughts for the future collaboration knives?

Most knifers know that Case congress patterns mainly the big 88 is highly desired among collectors. The 052 pattern comes in a close second. These patterns are much more desired with stag handles. There are Other congress patterns most of which Case discontinued long ago including the 068,59,38 and so on.A Case/Bose congress at about 3 1/2" would make a super fine collaboration.Though expensive to manufacture it would prove to be a great investment overall.I have attached a pic of a fantastic congress Tony made for the 2005 blade show.

I'd like to see a '49 pattern copperhead with clip and a shorter wharncliff or shorter pruner secondary. Heck, a regular '49 copperhead would be fine too.
Thanks,

I did, and fell in love with the older type with the larger "spoon" blade but unfortunatly they are not for sale anymore.
