Super-nice knife Ken, congratulations!
I can almost see how good this handle will work.

Best, Peter

Nice looking knife Ken. It certainly looks like it will be a great user.

Ken,
Nice knife..."BUT"...(There's that word again)...I only count 5 chargeable options on the knife. Were you including the black sheath? Either way: Great "snag". I have one with the exact same riggin' and love it.
Best, Capt. Chris

Cap,

These are the chargeable options that I count, so please correct me if I am wrong: stainless steel, nickel silver hilt, aluminum/black spacers, stag handle, Duralumin butt cap (my understanding is that it is chargeable if the handle is not stacked leather), and wrist thong hole.

Never mind. My mistake. I forgot that Stag is standard on the #5-4" knife.

That's one heck of a nice RMK 5 Ken. Beautiful stag and great grind lines.
Thanks for taking the time to post on my Knife Of The Week thread.

I enjoy seeing everyone's photos on the RKS forums. I felt like I should be making a contribution in return, so I bought a compact camera to carry with me at work. I hope to post some photos from time to time. I'll start with the knife I use on my job.

This is the hardest-working knife I own. It's a #5-4 in standard configuration: carbon steel, brass, and stag.

Great knife in a great thread - I love #5s!
Thanks for sharing it with us. That's what this forum should be about IMHO...
