Mike, I hope all be fine.
Your wife accept clots thinning drugs?
Follow her closely, if you suddenly see start attacks,
as if the person is choking. In this case,
immediately call an ambulance, immediately,
and for an examination of the shunt via MRT.
If a person as if suffocating, then it may be clogged shunt.
In the past year my girlfriend's mother died, because of this
(75 years old). Doctors are not identified during shunt
blockage symptoms. After bypass surgery this happened across 4 months.
Accept my prayers.
And be very watchful.

does anyone know how Lucille is doing???? haven't seen an update lately. Our prayers are with her and Mike.

We have a big meeting with the doctors tomorrow at 1pm to discuss today's MRI and the next steps. My guess, based upon my limited knowledge and observations, is they will wait and see a little longer. We are praying for a positive situation. Thanks for your prayers and support.

Continued prayers and hopes for a favorable outcome today and moving forward Mike for you and your family.

Well, we didn't get the news that we wanted to hear but regardless of the outcome, we are going forward. The neurologist said that Lucille's brain damage is such that she would never walk again. That's OK and I'm prepared to handle that role as long as I get my Pal back. They will surgically implant a trachea and stomach PEG next week and then send her to a long term care facility. My family and I thank you for your prayers and support. If anything changes, I will let you know.
