Saturday update-

Your continued prayers for Lucille are paying dividends. Today she opened her eyes and tried to focus on her brother Dennis and responded on 2 commands to blink. Then she tried to form words with her mouth. She can't talk with the trachea tube, so mouthing is about all she could do at best. Also, they took her totally off of the ventilator for 3 hours and she breathed on her own power. She has been off oxygen for over a week, but has had the ventilator assisting. After seeing her in the worst, these improvements are really special. I still break down at every visit, but am so thankful to the Lord and to my forum buddies for answered prayers. Even the doctors and nurses are optimistic now. All I can say is thanks for your continued prayers and the testimony of prayer power and the miracles of the Lord's healing power. God bless you all.
