This has been a trying week for all of us. On Sunday Lucille started having really bad leg cramps. She was in terrible pain. The doctor gave her Norco and on Tuesday, they were so bad, he ordered Valium. She had been doing so well with her exercises, but with the pain meds, comes less attention span. I also found out that they were only giving her 2oz of water every 4 hours. I insisted they increase and give her a boltus of 8oz every 6 hours. Since then, she hasn't had any muscle cramps. She went to rehab today and did ok, but not as good as a week ago. We know it's going to be up and down, so we are praying that she won't get any more cramps. All her vitals are stable and she tries to talk some when the talking valve is in. She tries very hard to respond to commands. It is still very hard for me to see my Pal in such a situation and nothing I can do about it. I miss talking with her about things. I read Charles Stanley and John Hagee, plus many Bible verses to her every day. That helps me too. Sincere thanks for everyone's prayers and continued support.
