My client suggested that I make a Model 16 Pathfinder inspired knife at the same time, and with the same materials, so he would have a matching pair.

Good idea! So I went to work immediately.
Filing away on the Niolox blade blank.

Here's the heat treated blade together with all the necessary materials to make this into a beautiful little hunter.



The difference between a nr. 25 and a nr. 26 is evident.

Soldered the nickel silver guards onto the blades with Staybrite solder. Next step is to clean up the solder joints.

Solderjoints cleaned up. Next step is MIG welding threaded stainless rods to the tangs.
