Don't want to booger up the Old Randall thread, so here is the original UDT knife, the model that influenced Bo to make RMK Fish & Bar. Note the similarities. Made from bar stock, finger grooves, and the UDT necessary bottle opener for post mission celebration!

Nice find, Joe. Provenance? grin

Whenever I see one of these old Sea Wolf dive knives from the early 80s, I think of Bo's Fish & Bar knife. The Sea Wolf was made entirely from 440C.

For years collectors thought these plated MK2 knives were made for WWII Frogmen. It was later discovered that they were actually Post WWII knives made from left over Ka-Bar parts and then sold commercially in the 50's and 60's. Eric

From Frank Trzaska's - approximately 1945-1952, Weske Cutlery Co. of Sandusky, Ohio purchased leftover and overrun parts from wartime Mark 2 knife contractors and assembled them into knives for commercial sale, polishing out the original manufacturer and military markings, and fitting them with ungrooved leather handles.

The first knife is pretty much a decoration for a bartop made of flat stock. The fish and bar far more a real knife. Desert Snake's catch of the day shot is cute. How many folk have copied the fish motif in multi-tools? I could only guess the DS COTD knife maker never saw a Glomar knife.
