Hey Matt,
Tony and Reese really don’t make that many straight knives, they make folders. They do make these hunting knives for those who they know will really use them in the field. It’s good to know that there knives are being used for what they are made for. Most of the Straight Knives I have seen are made out of D-2, 440V and S30V. Early on Tony made some fighting knives out of Damascus, but those are very rare.

Here are a few unusual straight knives from Wilfred Works. You don't see too many of these. Tony calls this a desk or office knife used for opening mail and packages. They are pretty handy. Handles are of mammoth ivory and blades are ground finish ATS-34.

THIS PATTERN MAKES THE MOST SENSE TO ME FOR THE MOST USABLE STRAIGHT KNIFE OUT THERE, THE SHEATH IS ALSO VERY FUNCTIONAL AND THE COMBO IS A NO NONSENSE TOOL FOR THE WOODSMAN AND AND RIVER RAT, OF WHICE I HAVE BEEN CALLED BEFORE. THANKS AGAIN FOR THE STUMP. JACK DAVENPORT
