Sorry I haven't posted in a while. We moved Lucille to our log home on February 22. Since our bedroom is on the 3rd floor, I rearranged the living room to accommodate a hospital bed. Of course she was excited to be home since it was last June when we left for her bypass.I have most of the daily and nightly duties. We do have home health come in a few hours a week, but mainly it's just me. Some days this is a real chore. She still can not talk or walk, so I must keep up with her tube feeding, water intake, meds and personal cleaning. For those that have never done this, it is definitely a full time job. My magazine pile is getting deeper since I don't have a lot of time to read them any more. One positive thing is I get to tell her all of my boring stories or gripe about politics and she endures. It's so nice to be home with our own stuff. We still have almost 3 feet of snow on the level but slowly melting. This time last year there were 200 elk grazing on us, but not yet this year. Maybe a month away for green grass.
As always, Lucille and I appreciate your continued prayers and hope we can eventually overcome and hit the road again. God bless.
Pap
