We moved Lucille to Vibra long term care facility yesterday and she is being looked after by a great staff. They are putting her through the PT paces to keep her muscles from atrophying. They have a full time doctor here 24/7 who said he has seen patients with worse conditions make it. She is healthy and normal from the neck down. We are going day to day. I have a very hard time seeing her in the current condition. I try to be strong but have been failing in that department. I moved the Airstream to an RV park only 10 minutes from the facility. Again, I really appreciate your prayers and continued support.

Mike, Don't think, for a moment, that Lu doesn't hear you or know you're there. When my Mother was in her last 5 days and at a Hospice facility, the nurse told me Mom could not hear or respond. I held her hand and said "Mother". "This is Chris" She flinched and I knew she was somewhat responsive. I told her we (the entire family) were here for her, whatever "she" decided to do. Take books and read to her Mike. Play her favorite music. She's still your "Pal" Mike. She just needs you more right now, that's all. Hang in there Mike and please know we all care. All the best, Capt. Chris
