Here's another that came up on a well known web site earlier this year. Some say "a sheath makes the knife". In this case the value increases ~ 3-4X!

Did Model 1 and 2 riveted sheaths with rivets all the way around (not throat rivets alone) ever come with brown button logo snaps or canteen snaps??

No, not that I have seen. Riveted sheaths were introduced in those models after the demise of the brown button sheath from Johnson.

You know, this made me think of a display I have coming up for some Fairbairn Sykes for someone in CA. I'll try to remember to post a pic of them after he receives it, and gets it set up.
