They are quite close, if not spot on! My last several months have been within 5 days or so and looking that good or better from now on..."UNLESS"...something changes.
Best, Capt. Chris

I received a letter from the Randall Shop in 2011, informing me of my 2012 delivery dates, including September 20th.

My knives are due in tomorrow, September 27th.

I figure that's about a week delay.

Hope that helps

I may have asked this before, if so I apologize.

Is the #7 still available with a #6 grind and would that be a charged option?

Thank you.

C) All black spacers (Same rules apply as "B")

D) Brass spacers (with "black" is the standard configuration, unless otherwise requested)

E) Brass spacers (with "red", upon request)

F) Aluminum spacers (again: with "black" unless otherwise requested)

G) Aluminum spacers (with "red" : Same rules apply as "F")

These are the only spacer combinations available. Now..Collars? A different story. Hope this answers your questions. Best, Capt. Chris

Hi Capt.
Can you update us on the sapcers? Is this info still valid? What is the charge for aluminum or brass with red or black spacers?

Thanks

I have a question about the standard finger grip micarta handles on full-tang models.

It seems that there can be a variation in how finger grip handles are shaped. The shape can be somewhat rectangular, with fairly straight edges. Or the shape can have edges that are more rounded, particularly on the finger contour. I have medium sized hands and short fingers, and I prefer the rounded finger contours.

Can I request a rounded contour to the finger grips when I place an order?

You can request "shallow" finger grips or simply explain that you require a standard sized finger grips and not over-sized finger grips. It you want to have a better chance of getting a handle that will fit, consider "single finger grip" as well. The center section is somwhat more narrow (or shallow).
Hope this helps, Capt. Chris

Capt. Chris,

Thanks for the advice. I'll remember to try the single finger grip.
