Just to be clear, some folks might think Crow's Beak to mean metal butt crows beak. This is shaping a crows beak into the handle. Hope that helps.

See the Triathlete and Mini #27 for examples of a crow's beak handle shape.
Best, Capt. Chris

Alright fellas! The vote came to white pine cone, no butt plate- just a pretty crow's beak.

Mission Knife
-Ghost Skull hammermark, hollow grind
-Copper S-Guard
-Horsehide & XL Walrus spacer (dressed up with some copper, black, etc. James is going to make sure she looks good!)
-White Pine Cone Butt, Crow's Beak shape

We just forged a new batch over the last two days, so it'll be about a week or so before we get after production on this one.

With a custom like this, sometimes it is best to see the knife before we choose what we're going to do on leather . If you'd rather vote on it now we can put the ideas together, but either way here's a few of our various options to start getting your wheels turning. It's worth noting that this one will not fit in a pouch with the S-guard. Chief had something to chime in here as well.

Feel free to contribute your ideas as well, photos as always are helpful.

Basketweave tooled high-ride, Rowe's Leather. Can be done in any dye

Border tooled, low-ride / drop loop, Warlander Leather, any dye.

Gator or Caiman high-ride, Warlander Leather. We have numerous options for inlays such as ostrich, elephant hide, caiman, shark, sting ray, beaver, and plenty others we could track down if I'm missing something.

And of course the Magic Man himself, Mudbone.

ALSO, should this first one get a special stamping in the blade among the skulls? "KTF01", as in Knife Talk Forum and serial, or something else...? We can always have letters or numbers tooled into the sheath too.
