Well I had a more explative reaction LOL.
Each one of these has slightly different grinds. This one has a slightly upswept shape.
These were all made by JR alone. Some of my recent knives from the collection needed his input as some questions came up.
They're turning out wicked cool stuff all the time. His early stuff is amazing and customer specific. They continue to just reinvent whatever has been or never been.

Exactly, only used for individual but the fork has had lots of "turning" duties as well. The knife is so sharp, that it also gets extended duties as well. But the best use is for cutting and eating a medium rare cowboy cut prime ribeye. That being said, I am sure that BMK would make you a similar looking set for carving/serving.

A couple of early Montana knives. That little guy is just a little larger than a pocket size and loaded; FWI handle, musk ox center spacer,N/S hilt, top edge sharpened, old Cris stamp, in a Mosher pouch.
