Cap this a question you can ask Scott sometime when you are there. I got the complete set of Scar remember Nam. all came with Doug's silver. The blade on the first two were marked Silver but the last one is not. Can I send this back to the shop to have the last blade marked silver? If so do you have any idea what the cost would be?

I'll check. Is it blade etched? If so, usual charges should apply and $15-20 outta' cover it.
Best, Capt. Chris

I think it is etched, does not seem to be stamped.

Peter,
I think they can if it is cut to specs.

Thanks
I may have to try to find a better sized piece and see if I can have it cut. I think you might need a diamond saw blade to cut it though

If it is too "rock-like" the shop will not take it. Gene Beal and I had a very though time with some "original...genuine" lignum vitae but Gene purchased a huge ban saw from Italy (4.5 H.P. motor!!) and it got the job done. If you want to send it to Gene or myself we'll give it a try.
Hope this helps, Capt. Chris

Capt. Chris
Thanks
It is a rock, I don't think a regular saw will cut it. I may try an abrasive cutoff wheel for masonry on it and see what happens, but I now don't think that the shop would want to work with it.
It would be unique though
I will talk to some of the rock guys in town how they handle it
