James,

Good get on the Elk; nice rig-very efficient with the bipod. I have been shooting with one since 2010 gives great stability.

Congrats, and good eatin'!

Very nice bull elk James!! Do you want to borrow my knife? I'll bet you used my secret elk bugle that I sent you. Take my advice, when you butcher a large bull, burger with 20% beef fat everything but the chops and tender loin. You will thank me later.

Really nice one James. And exact grind recipe I've used with old, heavy, rutting whitetail bucks and #2 does for decades Pappy.......prime beef cut fat from my butcher buddy & you can't go wrong.

Yes, I have a specially made elk bugle that works every time, especially when used with a cow in heat call. I'll send you one before next fall and the rut.

Congrats to you on a great looking Bull! Ditto on the beef fat blend, I do the same with all my ground venison. If you don't have a vacuum sealer, do yourself a favor and invest in one - you can keep that big boy in the freezer a lot longer if you need to. Good job.

Saw that Pap. Been struggling with the spell check at times myself. I knew what you meant.
