Very nice bull elk James!! Do you want to borrow my knife? I'll bet you used my secret elk bugle that I sent you. Take my advice, when you butcher a large bull, burger with 20% beef fat everything but the chops and tender loin. You will thank me later.

Yes, I have a specially made elk bugle that works every time, especially when used with a cow in heat call. I'll send you one before next fall and the rut.

Congrats to you on a great looking Bull! Ditto on the beef fat blend, I do the same with all my ground venison. If you don't have a vacuum sealer, do yourself a favor and invest in one - you can keep that big boy in the freezer a lot longer if you need to. Good job.
