Eric, It looks like FWI (Fossil Walrus Ivory) to me. The blue stuff is often found in Siberia...or near that region. Beautiful stuff on this thread, I agree! (That's what I was hoping for when I started this thread! Thanks everyone, Capt. Chris

Just starting to make the "list" for the Tulsa show. This will be making the trip. First (and only) RMK "Fireman" made using NASA G-3 insulator material. Best, Capt. Chris

It will be used...but not as a spacers. The material will be cut..lengthwise to facilitate the protruding piece. Don't worry. The Ol' Captain wastes nothing! The Randall shop will not substitute spacers on #27's... Best, Capt. Chris
Thought I would add this one. Anyone guess what kind of CW this 14 was handled with?
Would bet that the FWI & the knife came from Mr. Tom Clinton. Saw a similar knife that the FWI was all blue, except where the single finger grip was at Blade!
