By the way, I asked Ron Skaggs to engrave this knife at least seven months before it was due to arrive from Randall. I told him I wanted to send a deposit to assure a place in line, but Ron was willing to give me a place in line without the deposit. I was braced to expect the whole process to take maybe a year, but was lucky that it was less than that...

The AutoMag III is chambered in .30 Carbine.
I think some were made in 9mm Mag.
They either shoot all day or are a jam fest.
Mine shoots fine and is a blast, literally, to shoot!

I agree I would like to see some of the history and reasons why these knives are special and deserve some special consideration and additional information. Just thinking out loud, hopefully not to loud.
