I have seen the single black spacer when ivory is used with collars. This is the first picture I could find...... while this knife has spacers, there is a single black spacer at the flanged butt.

I intended to post on this thread weeks ago. But as many things in my life, I have good intentions, but things never get done.

I realize I made an error and posted a Model 1. I hope my Model 5 brethren will forgive me.

I had a Model 1 and a Model 5 both made up in FI, from the same piece of material. The Model 1 handle, you see, is pretty nice. The Model 5's (not pictured) FI is kind of bland.
