I was suggesting Rick as a source for finding out about the set of 3 you were asking about,
not that he was the only one doing flat butt plates. Most of the narwhal that I have seen has a cap except for some that Rick had done.
Your best bet for finding more info on the set is to check with some of the older dealers.
Like the Captain said about the 2 dozen or so that he has done, it's not something you have a lot of trouble remembering.
I was asking about the size as I may have a shot at a full tusk.

Doug Cream did all of the silver for my Narwhal knives. Just trace the butt ends and he makes plates up and sends them to the shop. You can also trace and dimension and e-mail Capt. Chris or Scott if you want to be sure that the shop will be okay with the size/shape.

Just got this one. Model 1 8" with FWI Tip with a Wrist Thong hole added.

Are you sure it was a wrist thong added Eric? It looks like a "net weight" to me.

Capt. Chris. I believe you are right. I wondered why any one would have added a WT. Never occurred to me it would have been used as a weight.
