Ahh...yes we do fit the sheaths to the knife...would you rather the keeper straps be loose or tight? They are stretched as much as we can to ensure that they remain a good fit throughout the life of the sheath, so they may be a little too tight to begin with, but use a mus-cle and everything will come together...
...and yes you must send the knife to receive a sheath from RMK
...we only use the logo snaps on all current RMK's
Thanks for the info. What is the price on a 16 SF model c sheath. How long a turn around time?

Standard replacement Model #16-7', Spl. #1 sheath is $65.00...in "tan". Add an additional $10.00 for "waxed"...$75.00 plus s,h & ins. Hope this helps. Best, Capt. Chris

Riveted sheaths have not been available from the Randall shop for 40 years (or so)...(Call it 35)...Sullivan's is the source for those. Best, Capt. Chris

You'll have to check with them...Some sheaths, like Greg's new "hi-ride" is only 10-12 weeks, because he has the clicker dies. Others, more labor-intensive, are a year or better. Best, Capt. Chris
Hello everybody, I am thinking about purchasing a #18 w/carbon steel blade. I want to know if the handle is stainless steel on tool steel blades. Thanks for help in advance. Jimmy

Yes the handle is stainless. I highly recommend a stainless blade on this knife due to the saw teeth.
