Thanks Max, I didn't want to overdo my reports. This morning when I first got to her room, the PT fellow came in and asked Lucille to open her right hand and she did, then to squeeze his hand and she did. Then he asked her to give him a thumbs up and she gave him a big thumbs up. Last week when he asked her that, she could only wiggle her thumb a little. While it may not seem like much, to us, it shows a continued improvement. She is now totally breathing on her own with no ventilator. Today they removed the orifice that collects moisture, so she must cough any liquid on her own. Another big step. I am very thankful for this care center, Vibra, they have more Christian employees than I could imagine. Everyone that has been Lucille's nurse, has genuinely treated her as if she was part of their family. We pray daily for continued improvement and no blood clots or health issues. I think I mentioned that a college mate of mine had a massive stroke 11 years ago and it was 12 months before he went home and is now still practicing law. I still have a hard time when I enter her room, but thank the Lord that she is alive and getting better. Thanks again for my Randall buddies, your support and prayers. You all are my rock and this site is very comforting. Love you all. God bless.
