In the entire US, the Gila Wilderness Areas is one of the most unique, wild and beautiful places I have been. That and the Turkey Creek area of SE Arizona, rank right up there for any sportsman's bucket list. Did you stop at Datl for a beer?

I spent a year in Reserve working on a waste water treatment plant and yes I have spent time in Datil I hunt Elk in Red Canyon just south of there. I also hunt the Pecos Wilderness on the north west side of NM great Big Horn sheep country

I was the project manager on the Arizona Interconnect Power Line that goes from ElPaso to Springerville, AZ. We had a field office in Silver City and a spike office in Reserve. Spent 2+ years off and on in that area. Very interesting country.

That is cool, it isn't work in a great place like that. I was the project Engineer for the Army Corps of Engineers in that area . Waters of America are our responsibility.

You guys out west have it made - we've been going out to Yellowstone / Tetons and surrounding areas the past few years on vacation and just love it out there.

nice looking Buck,

nice ride also, I still like the 4 wheeler ATV over the UTV. in New Mexico we have a 50" wheel width limit. from outside to outside of front wheels. that is a National forest rule here. so the ATV works better.
